One of the most frustrating activities for auto dealers is transacting auto sales after hours or on the weekends. We are attempting to make it easy for you to service our common customers. Below is a form you may use to request service and some general guidelines as to when coverage is automatic.
When coverage is automatic for liability coverage
If there is a current personal auto policy in force for the named insured, the insured has 30 days to report the additional private passenger vehicle to the insurance company. Liability coverage is in force during the 30 days. Simply complete the vehicle change form located at the following link. You may use the customers current ID card so long as the policy is in force.
When coverage is automatic for comprehensive and collision
Coverage is only automatic for the first 30 days if the customer already has a vehicle insured on the policy that has comprehensive and collision coverage. Simply complete the vehicle change form located at the following link. You may use the customers current ID card so long as the policy is in force.
When coverage is not automatic for liability
If a policy is not currently in force and if the new vehicle being purchased is a commercial use or type vehicle. In this case you must contact the agency during business hours.
When coverage is not automatic for comprehensive and collision
If a policy is not currently in force or if this coverage is not on the policy currently or if the new vehicle being purchased is a commercial use or type vehicle. In this case you must contact the agency during business hours.
